Flying the flag: HMS Prince of Wales
On-board graphics showcasing British engineering
The Royal Navy likes to keep their vessels shipshape and Bristol fashion. This however does not make for very exciting impression when non-navy personnel embark. We were tasked with producing a mural onboard, celebrating British engineering and the HMS Prince of Wales's sponsor cities: Liverpool and Bristol.
Internal Wall
The internal wall focused on the ship capabilities (figures about the complement of aircraft carries, number of crew members onboard or the range of the vessel) and linked facts about the HMS Prince of Wales’s sponsor cities: Bristol and Liverpool.
Bulkhead Wall
The bulkhead wall detailed the engineering and technological achievements involved with the ship; detailing the main companies of the Aircraft Alliance and the location in the UK that the product was built or developed.
